Update: County Commissioners have scheduled a public hearing on the proposed changes on December 8, 10 am at the Public Service Center (1300 Franklin Street).

Clark County Public Works will be holding an Open House for public input in regards to restricting parking in the Mt. Vista neighborhood by WSU in Salmon Creek.

Looks like Salmon Creek eaters will be getting another restaurant to choose from  pretty soon. sushi1 Remember where Taco Del Mar used to be; right by Salmon Creek Burgerville and  Panda Express?

Well, there is a new sign in the window “Coming Soon – Sushi Chiyo”.  So, I am assuming we will now have a Sushi Restaurant in the near future.

Northside Barber, previously located on Highway 99, is now up and running, er…cutting, in Salmon Creek.  There is a new sign and a new location, but the faces behind the chairs are the same.

Pam, Marci and Tammi are enjoying the new location in Salmon Creek, 1309 NE 134th Street, in the business center next to the I-5 Southbound on-ramp, and just behind the Wayside Market/Shell Gas Station.

The Three Creeks Advisory Council will focus on the new Three Creeks Special Planning Area (Salmon Creek, Felida, Hazel Dell, Lake Shore and the fairgrounds) to assist the Clark County Board of Commissioners with transportation, land use planning and related issues.  The meeting will be held at the Clark Regional Wastewater District, 8000 NE 52nd Ct, from 10 a.m. to noon.
