How Does Your Garden Grow Vancouver?

Urban Abundance Seed Swap and More.

seeds 135 120x120 How Does Your Garden Grow Vancouver?I love this time of year! No, not the cold February rain; but the glimpse of Spring I see around my garden. The Daffodils and Crocus’ are beginning to emerge, and every now and then, the clouds part and we see a hint of blue sky and sunshine.

Get a jump start on your spring garden at the Urban Abundance Grow Vancouver meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Vancouver Library (901 C Street, Vancouver).

The meeting will start with a meet and eat at 6:30 (snacks provided by Jo Foody Catering; but please feel free to also bring your own snacks to share). At 7:00, local farmer and educator Davis Knaus with Fresh Earth Gardens will discuss propagation and season extension tips to help you get your spring garden started now.

Urban Abundance also has over 200 pounds of veggie seeds to give away; so bring your baggies and any extra seeds you would like to share and join the fun of the Seed Swap!

Got garden questions? Want to get your hands dirty in a garden project? Looking for help with a garden project? Join Grow Vancouver!
