Big Mike’s Shake Shack in Hazel Dell isn’t just about great tasting smoothies, or losing weight. They are all about being healthy, and staying that way. For a lot of us, that means dropping a few pounds, along with better nutrition, and so they are having a Biggest Loser Individual Weight Loss Challenge starting this Saturday, September 18!

Here’s the scoop: It’s a $40 entry fee, which includes a private appointment with a Wellness Coach, body scan, measurements, weigh-in (remember, I said it’s private, you don’t have to stand on a scale in front of a group!) and an individualized meal program to help you reach your goal. There are weekly meetings which participants are encouraged to go to, but there is no requirement to do so. The weekly meetings offer support, inspiration, recipes, menu planning, and just a fun get together with like minded people. They also have a Wii system hooked up and ready for some fun (wi-fi, too). Then, at the end of 6 weeks, there is a 100% cash payout to the top winners (or losers ).

I had the Caramel Apple Shake the other day, and it was delish! (and filling), and only 200 calories, AND good for me! Big Mike’s Shake Shack is located in Hazel Dell at 7017 Hwy 99, Suite 100 (Collins Plaza), and you can contact them at 360-635-4371. They are open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays between 9 am and 2 pm.
