Opening Day for the Camas Farmers Market is Wednesday, May 26, 2010! Opening ceremony at 3 pm in front of the Camas Public Library, and the Market will remain open until 7:30 pm. It will be open those same hours every Wednesday until late September.
When you get there, be sure to check in at the Camas Farmers Market Info for your free reusable Camas Farmers Market bag (while supplies last), and then go fill it with goodies!
There will be lots of early fresh produce and farm fresh goodies; including, fresh picked strawberries, organic eggs, foraged mushrooms, beautiful flowers, and more! There will also be plenty of prepared food and concessions to choose from. I have heard that Sweet Asylum Bakery will have 7 different flavors of cheesecake on hand (my favorite!)
The Healthy Living Booth will feature WSU Master Gardeners sharing information on growing tomatoes, there are activities for the kids, live music and more.
“Connect with your community every Wednesday from late May to late September in Historic Downtown Camas. From 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. you can stroll through the market and invigorate your kitchen and your palate with fresh local food fare, choice produce and farm to table recipes!” Camas Farmers Market
