As part of our ongoing coverage of the activities that shape your Salmon Creek neighborhood, the following are the formal minutes from the North Salmon Creek Neighborhood Association Executive Board Meeting, held on April 28, 2009.
The April 28 NSCNA Executive Meeting was held at NSCNA Vice-President Avril Massey’s home and began at 6:42 pm.

1. Agenda Review
2. Minutes – Jennifer moved that we dispense with the reading of the minutes. Dan seconded. Motion approved.
3. Officers reports
a. Treasurer’s Report from Merle
- Merle reports all funds are now in Riverview Community Bank
4. - Old Business Barbara did our taxes and filed them on April 15th.
a. Selection of Logo
- Ron nominates Logo Submission #1. Jennifer seconds. Vote: All in favor. Logo Submission #1 is selected as the official NSCNA logo.
- Carrol will ask Burgerville if they are willing to supply a second prize for the Logo Submission #4.
b. Name tags – Carrol & Barbara – Postponed until next meeting
c. May 2nd coverage at Felida May Day Celebration
- Coverage needed from 9-4
- Carrol can do 9-11.

a. Newsletter
- Almost complete. Barbara needs to confirm new speakers for May meeting.
- Delivery date: No later than May 15th.
b. Team 99 report from Ron
- The plan has been changing since the last time we heard from them. We may want to have some speakers from the county to discuss the current plan.
c. Future Meetings – Priority
- Hwy 99 plan – July
- Tom Mielke – $25 tax vs TIF/PIF – September
- Sheila – CERT
- CRC
- Luisa – drain to stream project
d. New director position – strategy for recruiting
e. Meeting attendance – brainstorm engagement opportunities

- Beg for excellent door prizes – now that we’re 501c3
- Sandwich sign advertising meeting out on 134th.
- Ask businesses if they would advertise the meetings on their signs.

- Door prizes – Mix up when we do the drawings. Between events and at the end.

- Dan is willing to hold a meeting to assign responsibilities

- Have speakers from neighborhoods that have successfully completed. - Ask at next general meeting for location ideas for CERT sheds.
