Alki 8th Grade Awards and Party

Aloha Alki 8th Graders.

Alki we will hold its Second Annual 8th Grade Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 22nd at 9:00 am.  At this time, students will receive awards who have demonstrated high academic excellence, perfect attendance, outstanding performance skills in the arts, exceptional athletic/sports abilities, outstanding leadership involvement and a few other categories to be determined prior to the event. All parents are invited to our awards ceremony, which should last about an hour. Parents of students receiving awards should have received a special invitation in the mail.

At 12:00 the 8th Grade Party will begin! Students are encouraged to wear Hawaiian gear or class T-shirt. Food, photo ops, music, dancing, yearbook signing, games, treat (including Hawaiian Ice!) will all be part of the fun! All activities for the party came from the 8th graders themselves, so beware!! ;-) Oh, and they are still in need of chaperones, email muzzylisa@aol.com, if interested.
