Won’t Be Bursting In Air Tonight.

no-fireworks As of 11 pm last night, setting off fireworks is illegal, and this time we are not talking about the brand illegal, we’re talking handcuff illegal.

OK, maybe not handcuffs, but you get my point.

The new law went into effect this year, and county-wide there is to be no setting off of fireworks after 11 pm July 5. And don’t forget there are no fireworks allowed on New Year’s Eve, either.

So, it should be a quieter night in Salmon Creek tonight, as well as more parking at Billygan’s and Applebee’s once the fireworks tent is taken down.
