Volunteers are invited to come get dirty with the Salmon Creek StreamTeam
as they host the 10th Annual Earth Day celebration on April 18, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. There will be tree planting along Salmon Creek to improve and protect water quality and help restore salmon habitat. Lunch and commemorative T-shirts will be provided for volunteers. Whether you are planting trees or not, bring the family and enjoy an EcoFair, wildlife show, children’s activities and a free four-pack of CFL’s. According to the StreamTeam website, days and times are subject to change so please call the StreamTeam coordinator at 992-8585 to register for Earth Day, or just to confirm the dates and times for StreamTeam activities.
