Girl fishing 135 Klineline Kids Fishing is Reel FunThe 12th Annual Klineline Pond Kids’ Fish-In Event is Saturday April 09, 2011 at the Salmon Creek Park, Klineline Pond.

Klineline Pond is stocked with thousands of trout to give kids the best chance possible of experiencing the “thrill of the catch”.  All fishing gear and bait will be provided, and each child will have the chance to catch, clean and keep up to two fish. While there is no guarantee of a catch, all kids will get a Fishing Kids T-Shirt, and get to keep the rod and reel they fished with!

The Salmon Creek Lions will be there giving out prizes for the best fish caught throughout the day and offering concessions. Registration deadline is April 1, 2011 and is by mail only.  Click for the 2011 Klineline Pond Kids’ Fish-In Event Registration.

This year, Klineline Kids Fishing Event is Needing to Hook Some Sponsors. Klineline Kids Fishing, a partner with the non-profit organization Go Play Outside Alliance of Washington (GoPaw), is asking for your support in putting together this worthwhile event at Klineline Pond. For a donation of $250 or more, your business logo will be printed on the back of every child’s T-shirt, and space will be provided at the event to hang your banner.
