Who’s Your Teacher?
In past years, Salmon Creek Elementary students had to wait until the day before school started for the Back to School Social to find out who their teacher (and their friends teacher) was going to be. This year, the Salmon Creek Elementary Back to School Social will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 between 3:30 and 5:00 pm. (The first day of school is Wednesday, September 7, 2011)
Meet teachers, visit classrooms, and even bring school supplies between 3:30-4:00. From 4:00-5:00, feel free to visit the cafeteria, where class lists will be posted, as well as information about volunteer opportunities, signing up for PTA, and adding money to your child’s lunch money account.
Also new this year, when you receive your back to school newsletter, be sure to check the mailing label…your child’s teacher will be printed on the label. So, yes, if you have multiple students attending Salmon Creek Elementary this year, you will receive a newsletter for each child.
