Won and Won in State Tournament So Far.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: It seems as though we can’t trust the State Little League Website (our original source for this story). In the comment below, Tracy, who is one of the most respected hyper-local bloggers on the planet, notes the errors on the State website, and confirmation via the WSLL twitter stream.
Despite this state site snafu, (click bracket image I pulled from State site, right) we’re still proud of the boys from the ‘Creek and we’ll battle back in the other bracket. Follow us for updates on the games and schedules along the way. Thanks, Tracy! (ed.)
The Salmon Creek Little League All Star Majors (11-12 year olds) Baseball Team remains in the winners bracket after winning two games in the Washington State Little League Tournament.
They played Fort Vancouver Little League in Game 1 on July 25, and won 4-3.
Tonight, July 26, Salmon Creek competed against West Seattle Little League and came away with the win 5-3.
Next game for Salmon Creek Little League will be July 29th at 7:30 pm against also undefeated Pasco United.

FYI, the state bracket website is wrong, according to West Seattle Little League, if that was your only source – they say WS actually won tonight’s game (first they reported it, then I pointed out to them the state bracket site had it the other way around, then they reiterated, WS won).

Hi Tracy. Thanks for the update. It’s tough when sources get it wrong. Amazing how in tune you are with West Seattle and all that’s going on there. You’re a real credit to your community, keep up the good work.
It appears that they not only fixed the bracket but also fixed the link to the live feed of the tournament. There isn’t a game until 2:30, but it seems that there is a chat feature that was used last night.
The chat and might be a good double check for the results tonight. Tracy told me about finding your link. She follows our league twitter and posts great coverage of our league. Good luck! Live FEED:
