New Cart Recycling Program Begins.

Threcyclemere’s an easier way to recycle for Salmon Creek neighbors begining in April.  Waste Connections will start delivery of the new blue recycling carts on Monday April 6; but, depending on what part of Salmon Creek you live in, you may not get your cart until June.

So, other than color, what changes will be made?  The new single cart will replace the current 3 bin system currently in use.  All recyclables, except glass, will go into the single cart.   To make it even better (I know, this is exciting stuff  ;-) ) you will now be able to include yogurt and butter tubs, flower pots and plastic buckets as large as 5 gallons.

“Awesome”, was one recyclers response.  Of course, that recycler was my 10 year old son, whose job is to sort the recycling at our house and take it to the curb.
