Run to Celebrate Battle Ground Harvest Days.
The Battle Ground Harvest Days Run will take place on Sunday, July 17, 2011 as part of the Battle Ground Harvest Days Celebration. You can choose the 2 mile Family Fun Run, 8K, or 1/2 Marathon.
The 1/2 marathon is a 13.1 run that passes the Rusty Grape Winery, through the countryside, down the heart of Main Street, starting and finishing in Battle Ground Village. The run will kickoff at 7:30 Sunday morning and allows 4 hours for runners to complete the course. The 8k is a 4.97 mile run starting at 8:00 am that loops around the Rusty Grape and back to Battle Ground Village.
The Family Fun Run is a 2 mile jaunt south through Battle Ground Center, and provides an opportunity for families with children of all ages to participate in a family event. Registrants may register as a family unit, paying just one registration fee ($25 per family).
All runners and walkers will receive a finishers medal; registrants in the 8K and 1/2 Marathon will also receive a commemorative Dri-fit T and cash prizes will be awarded! Enjoy the after party with food from Bone’s Steak and Chop House, beer from Laurelwood, and a live D.J.
