The Columbia Gorge Women’s Association will be holding their 14th Annual Mother’s Day Plant and Garden Fair on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be many indoor, outdoor, and garden plants available; as well as seedlings, veggies, trees and flowers.

sunsetbirds 125 Planting Trees at Steigerwald is for the BirdsSteigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge needs volunteers for tree planting along Gibbons Creek until the end of March. The planting will help improve the habitat with native trees and shrubs. With the support of the US Fish and Wildlife service there are almost 6500 trees and shrubs that need to be planted.
