Two hour late start days provide our educators with needed time to work together to help our students succeed. But it can also wreak havoc on parent’s schedules. So, what is a parent to do? GET MAD!

Mad Science is offering a series of fun, educational, hands-on workshops before school on late start days from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Classes will be held in the Salmon Creek Elementary School Cafeteria on late-start Mondays, with a different theme each month.

The classes teach dog and cat owners how to respond to a wide range of animal emergencies; from dressing a wound, to pet CPR, to preparing pets for natural disasters.
