The Run For A Wish is a fundraising event supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Priscilla Timmons, a Skyview High School Senior, is participating in the Ms. Skyview Pageant. This special pageant’s mission is to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.

The Run for a Wish 5K Run/Walk will be along the Salmon Creek Trail, beginning at the Salmon Creek Park/Klineline Pond Trailhead, on Sunday March 6, 2011. There is a Kids (10 and under) 1K Run at 10 am, the 5K Run begins at 10:30 and the 5K Walk begins at 10:35. Registration is $5 for the Kids, and $15 for the 5K.

You can register and pay online, or on race day. Your registrations, and donations, all benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Her goal is to rally the local community and raise $3,000, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. So grab the family, lace up those shoes, and let’s grant some wishes together!
