Free Movies All Summer

Free Family Film Festival in Hazel Dell.

That’s right, free movies for the kids on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am at the Regal Cinemas on Highway 99. Regal Cinemas has been offering the Free Family Film Festival since 1991; free tickets for kids and parents to select rated G and PG movies beginning Tuesday July 7 through August 26. The Regal Cinemas in Cascade Park is also participating.

Physicals are required for middle and high school students who plan on participating in intramural sports, band, or cheer. Free Coffee at Peet’s

Friday, August 7th from 2-3 pm.

I saw the sign outside the Peet’s in Salmon Creek, 13307 NE Hwy 99, and had to go inside and ask, “Really, free coffee. What’s the catch?”

Free Fare Day, Too.pancakes

Update 8/06/09:  All Fred Meyer stores are now out of coupons needed for the free admission and pancake breakfast.

The Clark County Fair will open on Friday, August 7 with free admission (until 11 am) and free pancake breakfast sponsored by Fred Meyer.  You will need to pick up a coupon from your local Fred Meyer store before Friday morning!

C-Tran is also offering free fare on August 7 until approximately noon for the Clark County Fair’s annual free admission and pancake breakfast day.

Strange Wire Baskets Found at WSU

It’s a Pole Hole.
