First Day Success for Soccer Camp.

The weather couldn’t have been better for the first day of the Skyview Girls Soccer Team Soccer Camp this morning, as over 60 girls showed up to learn the game from the players themselves.

“It was Awesome!” “I learned a lot.” “I’m sweaty!”, were just a few of the comments from participants after practice was over.

Skyview Girls Soccer Camp

Those Who Have Talent Are Good.  Those Who Practice Are Great.

The Skyview Storm Girls Soccer Team is having their 1st Annual Girls Soccer Camp August 18th-20th from 9:00 to 11:30.  The camp is geared for girls entering First through Eighth Grade.

Current and former Skyview Soccer Players (Greater St. Helens League Champions 2006, 2007, 2008) will be running and coaching the camp.  Girls will receive both individual and team instruction appropriate to their age level.  There will be games and activities, as well as team competitions.

The goal is for the girls to improve their skills and knowledge of the game, while having fun and making new friends.

The cost is $55 per player ($45 for the second player per family) and the funds raised will go towards new uniforms and equipment.  Click for Registration Form and more information.

Adidas Tournament Meets Their Nemesis

FCSC Nemesis 98 Takes Top Spot.

Our local girls from Salmon Creek on the FCSC Nemesis 98 Yellow and FCSC Nemesis 98 Blue are kickin’ it in competition.

Both Teams played well in the Beaverton Adidas Cup this past weekend.  Nemesis Blue made it to the Semi-Finals, only to be eliminated by their sister team, Nemesis Yellow.  Nemesis Yellow went on the win the Championship!

Both teams also attended the Clash on the Border in Camas the last weekend in June, with BOTH teams winning the Championship in their bracket.

You go, girl!

VGSA Auction

Going Once, Going Twice, Going to be a Blast!
