The planting will help improve the habitat with native trees and shrubs. With the support of the US Fish and Wildlife service there are almost 6500 trees and shrubs that need to be planted. The good news is that Klineline Pond at Salmon Creek Park will remain open for swimming this summer. The bad news is that due to budget cuts, there will no longer be lifeguards on duty. And, since one of the duties of the lifeguards was to also maintain the spray feature at the park, that will also be turned off this summer.

The Fun Wagon is rolling Monday through Friday to Parks around Clark County. What exactly is the Fun Wagon? Well, it’s an arts and crafts, fun and games, activity and learning center on wheels.
