Or is it Chiyo Sushi?
Looks like Salmon Creek eaters will be getting another restaurant to choose from pretty soon.
Remember where Taco Del Mar used to be; right by Salmon Creek Burgerville and Panda Express?
Well, there is a new sign in the window “Coming Soon – Sushi Chiyo”. So, I am assuming we will now have a Sushi Restaurant in the near future.
I looked up “Sushi Chiyo” but could only find “Chiyo Sushi”. If it is the same place, here is what they have to say about themselves…”Cool Sushi Place” and “We’re nice people with great sushi, clean and homey place and great service“. Well, there you have it.
We’ll keep you posted as we find out more, or please feel free to post your comments and let us know what you think.

Planet Thai Coming to Salmon Creek.
Looking to spice up your eating experience? Planet Thai has leased space in the Salmon Creek Square (900 NE Tenney Rd) and plans on opening their new restaurant in May.
I’m not familiar with Thai food, so I checked out their homepage. It says, Thai Cuisine “is essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences harmoniously combined into something uniquely Thai.” Thanks, now I understand.
Seriously though, I am glad to see a new restaurant coming to the ‘hood. We’ll be keeping an eye on construction, hopefully post a photo, and let you know when the Grand Opening will be.
And, if anyone can give me a better description of Thai food, please post a comment!

Under New Management
After the longest two weeks I know of, Pizza Schmizza is ready to take your order. The sign outside says “Under New Management”, and the inside decor is new too. Located in the Salmon Creek Square, alongside Cold Stone and Game Stop.
