Salmon Creek Interchange Local Paving Begins

Clark County Starts Paving Local Roads on Tuesday.

Is the end in sight? Clark County’s second season – road construction – comes in to full swing this week as crews start the local roads paving segment of the Salmon Creek Interchange Project. According to a Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) release, WSDOT work will begin July 11, and Clark County crews will be at it beginning July 12. The Pleasant Valley PTA, which presides over both the middle and primary schools, is organizing their 3rd Annual Family Fun and Fitness 3K Walk and Wellness Fair which will take place Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the beautiful Washington State University Vancouver Campus.

This is the largest parade in SW Washington is sponsored by Bomber Brothers Fireworks and the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association. The Grand Marshals are US Army Sergeant Jack Carrier (Retired) and US Army Sergeant Brian Radke (Retired). Both soldiers are from Southwest Washington and were injured while serving our country.
